EDWARD BABIUK It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend on December 9, 2010. Ed was born on January 7, 1932 in Wroxton, SK to Oksana and Speridon Babiuk. Shortly thereafter the family moved to Gilbert Plains, MB where Ed along with his four sisters and three brothers were raised on the family dairy farm. In 1954 Ed was united in marriage to Mildred Storozynsky and together they moved to Winnipeg, MB and raised five children. Ed was a self-employed roofer by profession and was well known and respected within his trade. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Mildred, his daughters Darlene (Ed), Terry (Patrick), Jacquie (Joe) and Darcia (Rich), his son Jim, his 10 grandchildren, four great-granddaughters and numerous family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. Viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
