ANNA MEDWECHUK Peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Portage District General Hospital, Anna Medwechuk passed away into the arms of the Lord. Visitation will be held at the Omega Funeral Home on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Omega Funeral Home. Private family interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Central Plains Chapter, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, 620 1st St. N.W., Portage La Prairie, MB R1N 1Z7.
