ANDREW LANGH BUDGE
Date of Passing: Dec 11, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDREW LANGH BUDGE Now catching for the Angels... Andrew Budge. Suddenly, on December 11, 2010, Andrew Budge, aged 24, wonderful brother to Shea and perfect son to Wendy and Wayne left us too soon, but with beautiful memories to treasure and remember him by. Andrew was a vibrant and active young man and losing him at this stage has been devastating for everyone fortunate enough to have known him. To meet Andrew was to be his friend. Ever sociable, Andrew will always be thought of for his even temperament, positive outlook and helpfulness. A graduate of Van Wallegham, Oak Park and so close to completing his Kinesiology program at the University of Winnipeg, Andrew's passion has always been sports. As a spectator, participant, trainer and coach, he has been involved in many sports and with a number of teams. Starting in kindergarten, he virtually learned to read and picked up his early math and geography from following box scores in the sports pages. Hockey, curling, golf, and most importantly, baseball have always been major interests for Andrew and we laughed together at his recently completing the circle with his latest endeavour team dodge ball! Left to celebrate Andrew's example for living life honourably and with respect for all are Shea, Wendy, Wayne, grandmother Lila, aunts Sheilah (Greg), Karen, Debbie (Lyle), cousins Amber, Shelby, Kelsey and Taryn, so many, many friends and in particular his best friend since early childhood and battery mate, David Kendall. Andrew's family thanks all that helped with Andrew's emergency. We also thank our many friends who have been there for us since the terrible news and especially, the Reimer family for their non-stop compassion and care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at the Masonic Temple, 420 Corydon Ave. Winnipeg. An Andrew Budge Memorial Scholarship to be administered in co-operation with Manitoba Baseball has been established. Donations may be made through any TD Canada Trust location. GO EAGLES!!
