Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUGENIA (JEAN) ROSNOW-MARDYNALKA (nee DUTKEWICH) April 13, 1916 December 12, 2010 Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister left us peacefully early Sunday morning on December 12th at Pinawa Hospital. Mother was born on April 13, 1916 in Petlura, Manitoba to Antonia and Peter Dutkewich. She married our father Adolf Rosnow and lived in Inglis later moving to River Hills and briefly to Whitemouth. She is survived by her daughter, Helen (Zanny) Kuchta of Winnipeg; grandchildren Lisa (Len) Vanderwal of Calgary, Alberta, great-grandson Dylan; Warren (Jennifer) Kuchta of Edmonton, Alberta, great-granddaughter Reese; her son, George (Trish) Rosnow of Lac du Bonnet, grandsons Shaun of Winnipeg and Myles and granddaughter Saffiya of Lac du Bonnet; daughter-in-law Rita of Winnipeg; granddaughter Nicole (Warren) Delichte of St. Alphonse, great-grandchildren Ian, Erin and Dion. Mom's life was a struggle at times but she persevered. Her garden and flowers were her whole life. She loved the outdoors and her pets. She would prefer to be outdoors anytime she could. She lived in Hadashville until her 94th birthday when she was taken to Pinawa Hospital where she remained until her demise. She never made it to a nursing home because of one thing or another. Mom was predeceased by her parents, her first-born child Martha at nine months, her husband Adolf in 1973, her brother Walter Dutkewich and sisters Alice Matskiw and Helen Huta, her son Fred Rosnow in 2001 and her nephew Stan Chychaluk in 2008. Jean leaves one sister Rose Chychaluk of Heritage Lodge, numerous nephews and nieces and her husband Andrew of Hadashville. Jean's family would like to thank Pinawa Hospital staff and Dr. Spence for all their excellent care of her in the last eight months. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service to be held at a later date. May God be with you mom and now rest in peace.
