ELOI (BILL) BAUCHE March 16, 1923 - December 12, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Eloi (Bill) Bauche after a long battle with cancer. Eloi passed away on Sunday December 12 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 87. Eloi is predeceased by his wife, Gertrude, in January 2010 and sister, Therese. He leaves to mourn his son, Rene (Cheryl) and his pride and joy and only grandchild, Breanne. He also leaves to mourn, his brother Gilles, sister Agnes, and extended family and friends. Dad was a caretaker at the St. Norbert and Noel Ritchot schools for many years and was known as Monsieur Bauche La Main Gauche to the students. He enjoyed working at the school and the kids brought him great joy and made his job easier. Special thanks to the staff at the Golden Door Personal Care Home for all of their care and support where he had lived for the past 11 months. Respecting Eloi's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral service. A private interment will be at a later date.
