GORDON DOUGLAS LAZARK October 15, 1960 - December 15, 2010 Gord passed away at home on December 15, 2010, surrounded by the love of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Olive Lazark, and an infant sister Joan. He is survived by his brothers Dave and Don (Terry); sisters Pat (Norm), Linda (George), Judy (Yale), and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Gord was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was employed at Weston Bakeries for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports on television. Some of his happiest times were spent with his brothers, relatives, and friends on hunting trips near Pierson, Manitoba and fishing in the Lee River area of Manitoba. The family is grateful to the medical and nursing staff of CancerCare Manitoba, the Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care, and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Palliative Care Program for their compassion and assistance. No formal service will be held. The family will honour his memory in private.
