Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ALLAN WARMAN April 25, 1936 December 10, 2010 After a short battle with cancer we had to say good-bye to Uncle Allan. Saying good-bye is never easy, but our hearts are lightened as your pain is gone and we know you are travelling the golden roads in Heaven collecting bottles and bowling the perfect game with family gone before. Uncle Allan was pre-deceased by his only brother, Murray, on June 6, 1990. Being a bachelor was never lonely as Murray and Heather gave him 6 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews to nick name and watch grow up. In 2001 after approximately 47 years trucking, Allan was able to take on the perfect job; living, working and playing at the Inwood Golf Course. This job allowed Allan the opportunity to kibbits with his second family, Eddie, Ray, Gordie and Gordie. He enjoyed many simple pleasures such as berry picking, keeping our ditches clean of bottles and cans, playing against lady luck, and caring for Curtis' cats. The family wishes to thank the staff of Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital for the care provided in his final days and the kind support from our friend Ray. In honouring Uncle Allan's wishes, no service will be held. Uncle Allan will be laid to rest with his mom in a private family burial next spring at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. One of Uncle Allan's favourite past-times was to watch his nephews and great nephews playing hockey and joining in a good game of road hockey against his favourite goalie Bailey. For those who wish to do so, a donation in his honour may be made to the Teulon Minor Hockey Association or a charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
