DAISY LILLY LACEY It is with deep regret the family of Daisy Lilly Lacey wish to announce her unexpected passing in Kelowna, B.C. on December 12th, 2010 at the age of 81. Daisy was born September 3rd, 1929 in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. She was predeceased by father Peter and mother Mary Bilenduke, husband Reginald and son Ronald Lacey. She is survived by her loving companion Harold Zoilkoski, sister Rose Pomozybida, children Reginald (Russ) (w. Evelyne) Lacey, Gary (cw. Kathy Pomenke) Lacey, Don (w. Sandra) Lacey, Deborah (h. Ian) Kunitski; grandchildren Kendera, Jordan, Brione, Graeme, Josh, Jake, Danielle and Ty as well as her many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. From Campbellton District grain fields, Churchill, Manitoba shores on the Hudson's Bay, to Powell River Pacific Ocean Sunsets and Kelowna Orchards of BC, the chapters of Daisy's life were rich with the people she loved. The legacy of Daisy's love will live on in the countless hearts that she touched. We will miss her deeply. The service for Daisy will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 8th, 2011 at the Bethany Newton United Church, 14853-60th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. As Daisy's love and compassion extended to everyone, we ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
