Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD NELSON RUDOLPH October 1, 1927 - December 18, 2010 Peacefully with his wife and family at his side on December 18, Donald Rudolph went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel; children, Don (June), Barbara (Mike), Sandra (Derence), Linda (Clark) and Keith (Darlene). He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Doris, Shirley (Dick); brother-in-law Bill (Ileen), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don was born in Molson, MB. He started working for CN when he was 16 years old and remained there for 43 years. He started as a section man and finished as a machine operator. While he was stationed in Grand Marais, he met the love of his life, Hazel. Don enjoyed people and was a friend to all. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He could be found working at the Grand Marais Rec Hall, doing chores and driving seniors to different events, cutting their grass or picking up their paper to name just a few. After retiring, he worked at Doris Grocery where he got to visit with everyone. Some of his favourite activities were operating the Merry Go Round, curling, playing bingo, painting pictures and watching wrestling. The family would like to thank all the staff at Middlechurch Care Home; with a special thanks to Tracy, Crystal and Susan. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, the 22nd of December at the Wayside Chapel in Grand Marais, MB at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Middlechurch Care Home or a charity of your choice. Well dad it's been a year since you left us. I think about you every day and wish you were here to get advice or to make us your famous fries one more time.Some time just so I can say how much I miss and Love you.I know I'll see you again sometime until Rest In Peace.
