BENJAMIN JAMES WILLIAM OAKDEN Per Ardua Ad Astra It is with sadness the family of Ben announce his passing peacefully at home with his family at his side on December 17, 2010. Ben is survived by his wife Sharon, son Ben (Debbie DeBeurs and daughter Chantel), daughters Shanne (Laszlo) and Cheryl (Chuck). Also surviving Ben are his five grandchildren: Nicole and Benjamin Oakden, Spencer Szabados, and Emma and Emerson Kitson. Also surviving is one sister, Lillian Gibson of Emerson, MB and extended family. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2011. Further announcement will appear in the spring. The family would like to thank all of Ben's palliative care team and home care staff for their kindness and concern.
