BEVERLEY JEAN MILLS (nee NERLAND) (ROLICK) Peacefully, on December 18, 2010, at the age of 60, Beverley passed away with her family by her side. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband Bill, son Aaron Rolick (Nicole McDonald), daughter Skye Rolick, brand new granddaughter Mabel McDonald, and missed by her dog Lucha. She is survived by sisters Bette, Delores, Olina, brothers John and Norman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Mary Nerland, brothers Robert, Morley and her sister Gaylene. Bev was one of the founding members of the Regina Women's Community Center and will always be remembered as a superb counsellor, mentor and champion for women's rights and the protection of children. Her kind nature, commitment to her friends and family, wonderful sense of humor and excitement for travel and adventure, either in Mexico or simply in Winnipeg, was infectious to all she met. She deeply loved all animals and nature, and after moving to Winnipeg, thoroughly enjoyed Assiniboine Park and the friends she met there. The family is forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Buhler Cancer Center for their respect, friendship and kindness and to the doctors, nurses and staff of ward 5 South of the Victoria General Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Bev's name to the Regina Humane Society. A memorial will be held in Regina in January 2011.
