Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCIANA (MARCING) JIMENO 1938 - 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Marciana on December 16, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents Pablo and Anastasia Edic. She leaves to mourn in her passing her loving husband, Ernesto Jimeno; her beloved brother Leon (Marcelina) Edic, his children Marietta (Todd, Michael, Brittanie) Parisien, Wilfredo (Jocelyn) Edic, Elvira (Jason, Sean, Ashalei) Edic/Allarie, Oliver Edic; her cousin Alfonso (Filipa) Sion, his children Freddie (Nida, Nerwin, Heidee, Nikkho, D.J.) Sion, Armando (Tess, Joy, Jr.) Sion; her cousin Erlinda (Raul) Oregas, her children Ryan, Ronald (Jasmine) Oregas. She will also be missed by her many friends and family both in Winnipeg and the Philippines. Marciana was born in Pangasinan, Philippines and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1969. She worked in the garment industry for several years then became a Nurse's Aide at Middlechurch Nursing Home and eventually retired from St. Joseph's Residence. Her many travels had brought her through the United States, Europe and the Philippines and she lived a very full life surrounded by her loving family and wonderful friends. Her generous heart and laughter will be greatly missed by everyone that she has touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Lei, Dr. Wong, Dr. St. Goddard, the many nurses and staff at St. Boniface CancerCare, St. Boniface Emergency and Riverview Medical Health Centre for their kindness at Marciana's time of need. Lamay will held on Thursday, December 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St. with Rev. Fr. Rainerio Sarce officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
