Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE BOWLER (nee Orvis) Gertie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 20, 2010. Mom was born in Grand Marais on September 8, 1922. She was predeceased by her husband Fraser in 1999. They were married for 59 years. She is survived by her daughter Glenda (Ken) and son Don (Ken), special daughter-in-law Joyce; grandchildren Kelli (Bob), Jayne (Sam), Spencer, Trevor (Shelley); great-grandchildren Randi (Matt), Alli (Chris), Devan, Andrew and Thomas. She also leaves her brother Erwin (Kathy) as well as many nieces and nephews. Her wish was that there be no formal funeral service. A family interment will take place at a later date.
