JOYCE KRUL Peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Deer Lodge Centre, Joyce Krul passed away. Left to cherish her memory are Lillian (Ken) Ashley and Racheal Boychuk; Andy, Keith and Jocelyn Krul; Valerie (Robin) Matthew and Jason Webb; Alan (Maryann) Krul; Patsy (Shawn) Tad, Austin and April Decaire; Tim (Donna) Krul; and one great-grandchild Hailee. She will also be missed by her siblings Edward (Anne) Barylski, Andy (Florence) Barylski, Mike (Dale) Barylski, Maryann (Rick) Butterworth. She was predeceased by her parents, brother and her husband Ted. Joyce was born March 13, 1941 in Rosenburg, MB. She married Ted Krul in 1959 and together they raised six children settling in the Ledwyn area until 1972 when the family moved to Lynn Lake. Joyce worked at the Northwest Company until 1990. They retired in 1997 and moved back to Ledwyn. Joyce was a social butterfly who enjoyed music, dancing, bingo, bowling and curling. Mom had a positive outlook on life despite her health issues. She was a very strong woman who always put someone else's needs before her own. Mom would never complain about the many hardships she had encountered and would always say there is someone else who suffers a lot more. Pallbearers are her brothers Eddie, Andy and Mike Barylski, friends Gordon Klym, Stefan Eyolfson and Kris Johnson. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, December 28 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Arborg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philips Roman Catholic Church, Arborg. Interment to follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Ledwyn. Rev. Father Paul Bisson officiating. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
