MARJORY RUTH ORCHARD (nee LAW) Marjory Ruth Orchard passed away peacefully on December 19, 2010 at Carman Memorial Hospital. She leaves to mourn, her husband Warder, her children Beverly Richards (Lawson), Judith, Charlie (Carol), Larry (Debbie) Nordquist, Warder's children, Gail (Richard) Snider, Donald (Janie) Orchard, her sister Mary, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Kenneth Lawson, Elmer Nordquist, and grandson Kenneth Richards. Marjory was a wife, mother, grandmother whose focus in life was her family, her extended family, her friends and her home. She was an active member in the Miami United Church, serving on the board, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and CGIT. She was always willing to give her time and energy to her community. She was known for her beautiful voice and was often asked to sing at weddings and funerals. She was a great listener who had the ability to reassure people and make them feel special, cared for and loved. Funeral services to celebrate her life will take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Miami Community Centre in Miami, MB.
