ZENON CZEZOWSKI Peacefully, Zenon Czezowski, aged 88 years, beloved husband of Leonia, passed away on December 25, 2010 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital surrounded by family. Zenon was born March 23, 1922 in Kozowa, pow. Brzezany, woj. Tarnopol, Poland. In 1965, Zenon came to join his brothers in Winnipeg, Canada. Zenon had a strong faith in God, was a hard worker, and always took care of his family. Immediately after arriving in Canada, Zenon started work at Inland Steel and Forgings where he stayed until his retirement. Zenon enjoyed gardening and fishing and took pride in having built the family home. Zenon will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Leonia; his sons Peter (Yvonne) and John (Monica); his grandchildren Andrew, Camille, Christian, Alexia, and Danielle; sister-in-law Wanda; sister-in-law Jadwiga; numerous nephews, nieces, and their children. Zenon was predeceased by his parents Jan and Anna, sister Karolina, and brothers Mieczyslaw (Edward), Bronislaw, Wladyslaw (Walter), and Tadeusz. The family wish to thank the home care workers and staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for all their kindness and support. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. The family gratefully thanks the Pallbearers: Ed Czezowski, Janusz Grubiak, Lloyd Kowalyshyn, Zenon Sosnowski, Mark Galarnyk and Michael Kowalyshyn.
