STEPHANIE WAWYN STILLER (MUDRY) With sad hearts and wonderful memories we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Stephanie on December 26, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 89. Mom had a heart of gold and will be lovingly remembered by her son and his family: Edward (Christine), grandchildren Jennifer (Sheldon) and Amanda; great-grandchildren Maddyn and Riley, and her daughter Patti and partner Duncan. She is also survived by her sister Mary Evenson of Penticton, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Peter Wawyn in 1982 and by her second husband Harry Stiller in 1987. She was also predeceased by her parents, sister Sandra and brother John Mudry. Mom was born on February 21, 1921 in Winnipeg, the third oldest of four children born to Eva and Joseph Mudry. She married Dad in 1950 and together they raised their family in the Point Douglas area. In 1985, Mom married Harry Stiller. Following her schooling, Mom was employed at Paulin Chambers, Eaton's Mail Order and Bristol Aerospace. In her retirement years, Mom opened her home to mentally challenged adults. Mom had boundless energy and wherever there was a need, Mom was there to help. She was admired for her compassionate and forgiving nature, independence and sense of humour. There were two things that were most important to Mom ... her family and her faith. She had an unwavering faith in her Lord Jesus and we know that she is now rejoicing in His presence. Last, we would be remiss if we didn't mention her love of cats. The family would like to thank the staff on CD-1 at Riverview for the wonderful care given to Mom during her residency there for the past four years. A service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made in Stephanie's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of your choice. We'll miss you Mom 586-8044
