CARRIE SAWCHUK (CORSA) Peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Concordia Hospital, Carrie Sawchuk passed away at the age of 93 years. Carrie was predeceased by her husband George, and sons Ronald and Norman. Carrie is survived by her sons Robert (Vicki) and Wayne; daughters-in-law Nancy and Linda; grandchildren Robin, Tracey, Susan, Kristine, Cassandra, Corinne, Lisa, Tara, Loretta and Jason, special niece Bev, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carrie was born in Foley, MB. She spent many happy hours gardening at the cottage at Lee River where she was widely known in the area for her beautiful gardens. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30, at 10:00 a.m at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street. Interment will take place at a later date.
