MARINA AGUILERA June 9, 1943 - December 27, 2010 (67 years young) It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our wife, mother and sister, surrounded by her family, after a strong and brave battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Marina will be sadly missed by her husband Jose Ignacio Nacho Aguilera the mi amor of her life, her children Adriana Koshowski (Daniel), Javier Aguilera (Sheryl) and Claudia Caporuscio (Marco), and her grandchildren, the pride and joy of her life, Tyler, Myles and Riley, Karissa, Kailey and Mitchel, and Diego, Luke and Isabella. Also all her brothers and sisters: Betty (Flamino) Amador, Leopoldo Cediel, Reynaldo (Angela) Cediel, Victor (Sonia) Cediel, Cielo Cediel, Marta (Frank) Muchow and Enrique Cediel, many nieces and nephews and friends, and her dear, dear friends Edith Wilchowy and Gloria Bech. She was predeceased by her parents Reynaldo and Aracelly Cediel and her 20 month old son Hector Ignacio Nachito who also died of Leukemia almost 39 years ago. Our Mom was the most giving and caring person and gave all that she could of herself. She was always thinking of others and how they were doing. She helped many Colombian families get settled and accustomed to living in Canada. Mom was born in Colombia and was a school teacher there before she came to Canada in her early 30s. Mom was employed at the Grace Hospital for 26 years. She worked so hard her whole life to help Dad provide a good life for their family. She loved life most when surrounded by her family and her cooking was her way of gathering us together and her fiestas were her way of keeping us close. She loved to dance with Dad. Mom and Dad loved to travel and thankfully they were able to go on a few trips once they were both retired only a few years ago. They often found a way to sneak a grandchild or two into their travel plans which has created tremendously beautiful memories of Grandma among her most precious treasures, her grandchildren. The family extends sincerest thanks to the many friends for their help and prayers as mom fought her courageous battle. Special thanks go to all the wonderful caring doctors, nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre GD6, CancerCare Manitoba, the Grace Hospital and the Grace Hospice. Services will be held at St. Charles Parish, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg, December 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are being made by Chapel Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marina's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. Esté con Nosotros mi Amor
