HERMAN HENRY FRIEDERICI With deep regret and sadness, we bid farewell to our much beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Herman, on December 17, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by his parents, Otto and Martha Friederici; he is survived by his seven siblings and their families: brothers, Eric, Al (Judy) of Arborg, MB, Arthur (Betty) of St. Andrews, MB; sisters, Helen (George) Puhach of Lockport, MB, Tillie (Mike) Twohig of Winnipeg, MB, Shirley (Don) Carbert of Keewatin, Ontario, Nancy (Eugene) Fleury of Teulon, MB; many nieces and nephews and their extended families, many cousins (as well as in Europe) and friends. Born on October 11, 1936 in Rosenburg (Shorncliffe District) he spent his childhood surrounded by his continually growing band of siblings, fully enjoying his leadership role as oldest Big Brother to us all. Now, sadly we will all miss who we affectionately called our Big Brother (each in our own way) but also - his passion for life, his strength of character and independent spirit. But we are also very thankful knowing that he was a satisfied man throughout his life, fully enjoying his lifelong passion farming and his cattle, in his own way and simply just being satisfied with Nature's Peace and the more quiet country life. Thank you most sincerely to the many kind friends and neighbours, you - who offered phone calls, visits and displayed care and concern to him these past months. We, his family so very much appreciated this - as he did. Thank you! Rest peacefully, beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend. In accordance with Herman's wishes, a private family service was held. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
