REBECCA ARCEGA BARCINAS Rebecca Arcega Barcinas, 69, was granted her angel wings on December 27, 2010. Battling a sudden illness, she passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. She was one of nine children born to the late Cenon and Cecilia Mariano and was the beloved husband of Danilo Barcinas for over 34 years. Rebecca will forever be remembered by her dearest children Redan Barcinas and Lissa Sapienza, treasured grandchild Danetto Sapienza, devoted brothers Bernardo, Rod, Melchor, Angelito and the late Julio Mariano, loving sisters Imelda Jimenez, Teresita Feliciano and Gloria Erece, along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her. Rebecca touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and was the glue that brought our families together all the way to the end. Family and Friends are invited to attend Lamay on Friday and Saturday, January 7 and 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight, at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard followed by the Funeral Service on Monday, January 10 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Parish Church, 784 Keewatin St. with interment in Thomson In the Park Cemetery. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you. Until we meet again!
