Mary (Nanny) passed away at the Grace Hospital with her family by her side. Nanny was born on June 28, 1922 in Rapid City, Manitoba to Harry and Annie Budnick. Her family moved to Winnipeg, where she met and married Thomas Archuk on her birthday of 1941. Together they raised one son, Tommy Richard Archuk. She kept an immaculate home, a beautiful garden with stunning rose bushes and also created beautiful needlepoint pictures. Nanny was an amazing cook and baker and had THE BEST perogies and cabbage rolls EVER we couldn't get enough of them! Over the years, Nanny and grandpa enjoyed travelling to multiple hotspots such as Hawaii and Mexico. After grandpa could no longer travel, she enjoyed several overnight bus trips to casinos in North Dakota, with her lady friends. She also enjoyed a few trips up to Swan River where her son and grandchildren reside, in addition to trips to Alberta to visit family. Nanny was predeceased by her parents, her three sisters and her niece.
