YIN KWAI CHAN Peacefully on December 27, 2010 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Yin Chan passed away at the age of 81 years. Yin leaves to mourn her passing her husband Wah; children Frank (Camy), Wayne, Elsa (Kwok Hung), Rex; grandchildren, Andie, Kathie, Adrian, and Claudia. Yin was born in Canton, China in 1930 and moved to Hong Kong in 1945. She was married to Wah in 1953. Yin was a caring and hard working mother who raised her four children in Hong Kong. Together with her husband they emigrated to Canada in 1981. She loved cooking and had worked for a number of years at the Beachcomber Restaurant in the kitchen. The family would like thank the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, in the ICU and the staff at the Health Science Centre for all their care and kindness. Visitation 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
