Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIVADELL LORRAINE KIRTON (nee BURNS) Peacefully on December 26, 2010, Ivadell Lorraine Kirton passed away at the River East Personal Care Home at the age of 84 years. Ivadell is survived by her son, Brian (Gail), their family Bradley, Brianne (Ken) and their children Rhiannon and Cade; son Craig (Debbie) and family Joel, Todd, and Ryan; as well as many relatives and friends. Her husband George predeceased Ivadell on July 4, 2003. Ivadell was employed at the Hudson Bay Company, Marshall Wells, Avon and Revenue Canada during her working years. Ivadell's interest as a young lady were dancing, both ballet and tap. Her recreational activities in her later years were square/round dancing and gardening. Up until 2002, Ivadell enjoyed her time at the cottage at Lee Dale Estates on the Lee River, where she spent much of that time happily tending to the 200 plus trees she planted and her numerous flower beds. Her great-grandchildren brought her much joy and she cherished each and every laughter filled moment they lovingly shared together. Our sincerest thanks go the staff of the River East Personal Care Home, especially those of the Serenity Cove neighbourhood for their kindness, support, comfort and care during Ivadell's time there. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her. Our memories of Ivadell are as precious as gold and will be treasured forever. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with Reverend Simon Blaikie officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of MB, Parkinson's Society of MB or the charity of your choice. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
