WILLIAM JOHN CROZIER
Born: Mar 23, 1917
Date of Passing: Dec 28, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM JOHN CROZIER March 23, 1917 - December 28, 2010 Peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Grace Hospital, Bill Crozier loving husband of Florence passed away at the age of 93. Bill will be eternally remembered by wife Florence, sons Ken (Nancy) and Basil (Susan), grandchildren Alison (Philip), Leslie, Iain, D'Arcy (Melanie) and Jessica (Mike), great-grandchildren, his sister Jean (Robert McFarland), and nephews and nieces in Ireland, Scotland, England, Finland, and Canada. Dad was born in Northern Ireland. He served his country in the Second World War, in the Royal Air Force. During his Royal Air Force career he was an instructor, a pilot, and an air traffic controller. In 1966, at 49 years of age, he retired from the Air Force so that he could bring Florence, Ken, and Basil to Winnipeg to be close to Florence's parents and the Livingstone family. Soon after arriving in Winnipeg, Dad joined Investor's Group in their Accounting Office. The most important thing to Dad throughout his life has been family and service to others. God and the church have been integral parts of this - he was a true believer, who had a smile and helping hand for all. He was a proud, dedicated family man. His legacy will live on through our memories. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 130 Nassau Street North. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, a donation can be made in his name to St. Luke's Church or a charity of one's choice.
