SUZANNE CARRIERE It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Suzanne Carriere (nee Buors) on December 29, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital, with her family at her side. Suzanne was born on August 22, 1921. She is survived by her children Gracia Chartrand, Edgar Jr. Carriere, Irma Combot (Andre), Armande Leost (Lionel), Clarence Carriere (Joy), Louis Carriere (Marge), Antoine Carriere (Brigitte), Roberta Chartrand (Roger), Marie Kerbrat (Alain), Audie Carriere (Joanne), Carmen Schon (Willy), Sharon Vouriot (Guy), Brenda Dumont (Laurent); her sisters Herveline Calvez, Elise Chartrand and Agnes Boden. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Marie Buors, her husband Edgar, her brothers Albert, Louis, Jules and John and her son-in-law John Chartrand. Prayers will be held at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the St. Laurent Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Chartrand, Ken Leost, Don Combot, Clayton Schon, Kyle Vouriot and Andre Dumont. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Catherine's Place, Dr. Wong and Dr. Nicole, the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their special care and attention to our Mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
