ROBERT DAVIDSON (BOB) YOUNG On Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Grace Hospital our beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend, Robert, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by his parents James Robert Young, Mary Reith Weyness, brother William James Young and wife Betty Louise Young (nee Dedrick). He is survived by his wife Norma Yvonne Lavallee, and his daughters Donna Lee Hamilton, and Barbara Rae Young, son-in-law Garry Hamilton and three grandchildren, Alexander (Barbara), Robert and Raymond (Donna and Garry). Robert was born February 12, 1929 in Erickson, Manitoba, lived with his family in Dauphin, Manitoba, until moving to Winnipeg to pursue his career in the Automotive Industry. Robert worked in high level sales management positions for Sharps, Triangle Auto, Auto Supply and Autolec before opening his own detailing business, Auto Beauty Shop in the late 1970s. Robert enjoyed working, spending time with friends and family, going to his cottage at Moose Lake and spending time with his best friend Donald at Lake of the Woods. While enjoying the outdoors fishing, boating and having a cold beverage, he also enjoyed wood working projects, renovating and buying and selling cars. Robert was a kind and generous man who went out of his way to help the people he knew, and to ease the pain of the ones he cared about. He will be greatly missed and thought of often. We love you Robert, Bob, Dad and Grandpa. You now have no pain and we wish you Eternal Peace. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's honour to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Donald Stefanyk, Garry Hamilton, Alexander Valentim Young, Laurie, Keith and Marc Lavallee. Funeral Services will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue on Friday, January 7, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Luncheon at Army, Navy, and Air Force (ANAF), 3584 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
