Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY EVELYN ROBERTSON It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Audrey on December 31, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Audrey is survived by her sister Ada, niece Audrey (Roger), nephew Ian (Myrt) and great-niece / nephew Heather (Joel) and Scott (Stephanie). She is also survived by her best friend Eleanor. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Bob. Audrey was born in the family home in Winnipeg on July 11, 1923. She lived in the St John's district until 1968 at which time she moved with her parents to North Kildonan. Audrey had been a member of Robertson United and now a member of John Black United. She worked for 44 years - first with Fisher Burpy Medical Supplies and then as Office Manager of Holt Renfrew. She belonged to the Business and Professional Women's Club of Winnipeg (Xana) and Bleak House in West Kildonan. Audrey loved her crafts and travelling and after retirement added bowling and walking in Kildonan Park. The family thanks the staff and residents of Oakview Place for their friendship, support, care and compassion. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. officiated by Rev. Heather Sandilands. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
