MARIE-ANGE BRUCE November 26, 1910 - December 31, 2010 With beautiful memories we announce the peaceful passing of Marie-Ange Bruce at the age of 100 years old. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother was predeceased by our father, her 67 year old husband Wilmer Bruce in 1980, her six year old son Lorne in 1948, her 54 year old daughter Sylvia in 1993, her 44 year old son Richard in 1995, her son-in-law Robert Combot in 2004, her son-in-law James McCraken in 2005. She's lovingly remembered by her daughters Audrey Combot (Robert deceased), Rose Bruce, Diane Sutherland (Ken), son Bob Bruce (Sherrill) 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mom, in her peaceful demeanour was a very strong minded and determined person. Through her life she worked very hard along with our father to give her family a good life. She also taught us to pray, as she was a devout Catholic. Thank-you to the staff at Foyer Valade for the excellent care, our mother received while there for four years. Thank-you to the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface Emergency Department for their compassionate care. Funeral mass will be at the St. Laurent Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 with Abbé Michel Nault presiding. Interment to follow at the St. Laurent Cemetery.
