Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONNA PIERSON WATT On Friday, December 31, 2010, Donna Pierson Watt passed away at the age of 66, with her family by her side. Donna was born on November 20, 1944 in St. Boniface to Marcellin Pierson and Zita (Vielfaure) (both deceased). Donna was the second of a family of five children: Gloria, (Donna), Gerry, Lucille and Norma. Left to mourn are her beloved husband and friend, Donn (Douglas Donn) Watt; her son, David Pierson Gaudreau, partner, Michelle Tachnak (Winnipeg); Donna's daughter, Lise Anne Pearson, (Calgary); Donna's much-loved siblings: Gloria Mathes (Robert); Gerry Pierson (Aynsley Rae); Lucille McKernan (Pat); and Norma LeBleu (Roger). Also surviving Donna are her stepchildren: Meaghan Watt, of Winnipeg; Ryan Watt (wife, Sarah) of Calgary; her beloved grandchildren: Jordan Alexander Watt, Cody Steven Gaudreau, Mariesha Simone Watt of Winnipeg; Taliah Mai Watt; Ella Zita Pearson, Lily Catherine Pearson, and Evan Alexander Watt of Calgary; as well, Taliah's mother, Marilou Basa Hidalgo (Calgary), and former daughter-in-law, Lisa Audrey Gaudreau (Winnipeg), and former son-in-law, Glynn Pearson of Calgary. Donna had so many nephews, nieces, relatives and wonderful friends, too numerous to mention. At Donna's request, cremation has taken place. Please come and celebrate Donna's life with her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain, 340 Provencher Blvd., on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Donna lived each day as best as she could; loved deeply with all her heart and soul. She experienced and cherished the love she received and shared with others; she even cherished the painful losses in her life, which made her such an empathetic woman. Her own words: I wouldn't change a thing. I've been so blessed to have experienced both deep sorrows and tremendous joys. Donations, in lieu of flowers, should be made to God With Us, 529 Garfield St., New Westminster, BC V3L 4A6. This will help our long time counsellor Doreen Kostynuik continue her wonderful work helping others. Tax receipts will be issued.
