VEGA LINNEA CRAIG Vega Linnea Craig passed away peacefully at the Golden Links Lodge on December 31, 2010 with her family at her side. Linnea was born on April 23, 1920 in the community of Eriksdale, Manitoba. She married her sweetheart Gordon Dunbar in September 1940 and spent most of her life in the community of Great Falls, Manitoba. She was very artistic and enjoyed the outdoors, putting much of the local colour onto her canvases. She is survived by her two sons Richard (Linda), Eric (Judy) and their families. Mom and Dad Craig retired to Winnipeg in the early 1980s, and then relocated to Port Alberni, BC in the early 1990s. They lived there until Dad Craig's death in February of 1995. Mom Craig moved back to Manitoba in 1996. Mom's health slowly declined and she moved into Golden Links in 2005 where she received excellent loving care right up to the end. Many thanks to the dedicated and compassionate staff there for taking such good care of Mom over her declining years.
