ELSIE GOETZ It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elsie Goetz (nee Woodman) on January 3, 2011 at the Evergreen Lodge at the age of 89. She was born in St. John, Nova Scotia. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Victor, her sons Graham and Gregory and son-in-law Jim Brown. She is loving remembered by her daughters Marilyn Derkacz (Renny) and Andrea Brown, also by her 12 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters. Elsie was a very giving person, she loved to bake and spent endless hours baking for her grandchildren making everyone's favorite cookies. She always made sure there was baking for the lodge on Bingo afternoons and any time there was something happening she had to make sure there was lunch and goodies. There will be a luncheon in memory of Elsie's life on Saturday January 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dugald Community Club at 544 Holland Street, Dugald, Manitoba.
