LES BRUCE July 14, 1958 - January 2, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Les at his residence in Selkirk. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Angela and sons, Lyle and Brett; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Louise Wood, whom he always called mom and dad; brothers, Guy (Terri) Adams and Brian (Dana) Bruce; sister Shirleen (Leonard) King and their children, Niki, Charissa, Shannon, Mark, Jocelyn, Jamie and Boone; brothers-in-law, Roger, Steve and Lenny; sisters-in-law, Shelley and Peggy. He was predeceased by his little angel Ashley in 1997. We know that he is with her now and she was the one he missed dearly. We are sure Ashley called him home to relieve him of his daily suffering. Les was also predeceased by his mom Marie, stepdad Henry, sister Heather and dad Martin Bruce. Les spent a few of his younger years in Kenora, the rest in the Selkirk area. He was a natural born cook and will be sadly missed especially at Christmas. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel with a viewing to be held prior to the service and cremation to follow.
