Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE CHAMBERLAND George passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, December 24, 2010. He leaves to mourn his passing, two sisters, Shirley and Bernice, and two brothers, Roger and Phillip, of The Pas, MB. He was predeceased by his mother Ruth, father Oscar, brothers Dennis and Ronald, and sister Marie. George served in the Canadian Armed Forces with the Royal 22nd Regiment from 1953 to 1957 and was very proud of his service to Canada. He was 2nd Vice-President and Sergeant at Arms of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association in Canada, Unit 60. George was a member of the Manitoba Native Legbracers Association and served as their Service Officer. He was a life member of the Aboriginal Veterans Association and the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Association. Funeral services will be conducted by LCdr. (Retired) the Reverend Gary R. Killen CD; GJM, on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the ANAF Unit 60, 433 River Ave., Winnipeg. LeClaire Brothers in care of arrangements, 775-2220
