RHODA TALLMAN (nee GLOVER) Peacefully with her family by her side, Rhoda passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her loving husband Adrian, on March 10, 1989. Left to cherish her memory are son Thomas Tallman (Brenda), daughter Diane Silverberg (Joseph), grandchildren Myla (Heinz), Josh (Stephanie), Alyssia (Chris), Amanda (Vasile) and Alaina, great-grandchildren Isaac, Enoch and Aliza. Also surviving are her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Alberta. Born and raised in Medicine Hat and Red Deer, Alberta, Rhoda was one of 14 children. After marriage she moved with Adrian to St. Catherines, Ontario and finally settled in Winnipeg. She worked as a volunteer for numerous organizations, was an active curler and enjoyed a good game of bridge. When Adrian retired they enjoyed traveling the world and seeing new places but always spent their summers visiting family in Alberta. Mom had a positive outlook on life and relished her role as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The family would like to thank the staff from Palliative Care, Home Care, Riverwood Square and Victoria General Hospital 4 North. In her memory donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
