WAYNE BRIGG CAITHNESS March 24, 1945 - January 1, 2011 Wayne passed away with family by his side at 12:30 a.m. January 1, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by daughters, Tara and Lyndsey (Kevin); grandchildren, Sergi, Zachary, Tyrone and Delilah. He also leaves to mourn, his common-law wife Grace and her children, Derek (Karen), Brett (Brittany); and grandchildren, Jordon, Taylor, Triston and Kelso. Foster children, Josh and Robin and her daughter Aliyah; his sister Lynn (Andre) and their children. Wayne enjoyed many years at the lake in Matlock and then at Netley Resorts, Petersfield. He enjoyed curling, baseball and horseshoes. We would like to thank all those who showed their love and support in our time of need, the staff at Riverview, CancerCare and especially sister-in-law Gerrie and the staff at Superior Heating for all they have done. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life and a luncheon will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9.
