FERDINAND BERARD November 30, 1927 - January 4, 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Ferdinand Bérard passed away at the Foyer Valade at the age of 83. Dad was predeceased by his mother Oréclide, father Zénon, and Thérèse, mother of his children. He is survived by his four children and their families: Gilles (Janice) and their children, David, Nicole (Cody) with their daughter Ella of Calgary; Alain (Sue) and son Marcel (Sasha) with their son Jordan of Surrey; Joanne Gregoire (Richard) and their children, Diane (Blake) and Melanie of Winnipeg; Marcel (Suzanne) and their children, Stéphane and Justin also of Winnipeg. Also left to mourn are his sisters: Irène, Thérèse, Jeannine, Raymonde, Jeannette and one brother Lionel as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Monday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedrale, 190 avenue de la Cathédrale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
