AARON SINGER It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Singer on December 25, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Aaron was born in St. Boniface on January 26, 1935, the youngest of two children of the late Bayla and Nathan Singer. He was predeceased by his parents, and in-laws Ethel and Walter Holmes, Russell Holmes and Kenneth Murray. Aaron leaves to mourn his beloved wife Bette of 54 years; sons Gerry, Hartley (Yvonne) and Brad; grandson Andrew; and his 4-legged friend Sammi who still watches out for him everyday. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Arnold (Shirley) Singer; in-laws Donna Holmes, Ed (Jacqui) Holmes of Quesnel BC, Sandy Murray of Minnedosa MB, Brian (Linda) Holmes of Calgary AB, and many nieces and nephews. Aaron graduated as a Chartered Accountant in 1961 and remained in Public Practice until his retirement in 2003. He was loyal, and well respected by his clients and friends. He also loved to spend the winter months in California up until his health declined. Services were held at Etz Chayim Synagogue on December 28, 2010 with interment at Rosh Pina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Aaron's name to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba.
