KELLY LYNN GRUENKE (nee BLACK) After a most courageous battle with cancer, Kelly passed away at the age of 43, on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Riverview Health Centre with family at her side. Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Trent, son Kyler and daughter Jennessa, sister Dianne (Len) Kashton, brother Murray (Glennis) Black, Trent's family - Phil and Marlene Alexiuk, Lynda (Brian) Lemay, Krista Kristjanson, Carole (Doug) Wyder, Mark (Philippa) Alexiuk, Lynne-Rae (Allan) Couling and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Mike Black in 1991 and her mother Emily in 2010. Kelly was born in Minnedosa on January 15, 1967. She lived in Elphinstone until 1977. At the age of 10, she moved to Dauphin where she graduated from DRCSS and met her husband Trent. During her years in Dauphin, she was a member of the Dauphin Zirka Dance Ensemble. Kelly and Trent were married in Erickson on August 29th, 1992. A wedding reception followed at their favourite resort in Clear Lake. Kelly was a Travel Agent at Fort Richmond Travel for many years. Her warm personality was an asset to all her clients who booked trips with her. She was a devoted mother and played a very active role in the lives of her children. She was recognized by the Pembina Trails Hockey Association and Ryerson School for her outstanding community services. Kelly's passions in life were shopping, travel and spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Kelly's Life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place.
