KENNETH E. FRIESEN On January 3, 2011 with his family by his side, Kenneth E. Friesen died peacefully. He is survived by his wife, Lillian, and children David, Susanne (Marc), Robert (Sheryl) and Paul. He was most proud of his grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Kyle, Kade and Kyra. Ken was born in Steinbach, MB in August 1927, the youngest of five children to Isaac and Margaret Friesen. Dad joined the Canadian Air Force when he was a young man and served proudly for 25 years. He continued to work after his retirement from the forces because that is what he knew best, until he was 68. Memorial services will be on Monday, January 10, 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 871 Cavalier Dr. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. James Lutheran Church Mortgage Fund or the Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Rd, Winnipeg, MB, R2Y0S8.
