MAY SENCHUK At Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia, Ontario on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 88. May was born in Mckague, Saskatchewan on June 4, 1922. She lived in The Pas, Manitoba until the mid 1940's and then went to Sarnia and was employed at Dow Chemical. May married her lifelong love, Adam, in 1949 who predeceased her in August, 2010. Dear mother of Kathryn Senchuk, London and Steven Senchuk, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Jason, Jill, Julie, Adrienne and Amy. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and members of the Ricard, Pelletier, Dignard and Senchuk families including her cousins Florence Nahrgang, Kitchener, Jeanette Bourque, Petrolia and Victoria Potvin, Brantford. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Rosa Pelletier. After their retirement she and Adam travelled to Europe, the Ukraine and throughout Canada and the U.S. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 10 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Fr. Jim Higgins. Cremation will follow.
