Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESAT SEFA August 10, 1941 - January 4, 2011 Esat Sefa born in Djakova Kosova, passed away at home in Winnipeg peacefully with his family by his side. Esat will be missed by his children, Merita, Haki, Sinaver, Skender (Nancy), Blarim, Diana, Peter (step-son) and Cody; grandchildren, Adrian, Qemal, Bekim, Sanije, Melinda, Taib, Kayla, Savaria, Selena, Braden and Ethan; great-granddaughter Arianna; brother Qemal (Gonje); nephews, Ardian and Orland; nieces, Merlinda, Ardita and Lindita in Kosovo; and his cousin Ekrem and family in Switzerland. Many friends all around the world including, Maliq, Mike, the Abazi, Hoti and Zeneli families. Esat is predeceased by his mother Nia, whom he loved very much. Esat was a proud Albanian, who loved to cook and garden. He enjoyed life and loved to spend time with his family and friends. Esat had a very big heart and was a very giving person. We cherish the memories of family time together and his stories of growing up in Kosova. Many thanks to the Manitoba Muslim Association for all the great work they did in helping with his traditional Muslim funeral. Prayers were held on January 5, 2011 at the Grand Mosque on Waverley and was followed by the burial ceremony at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Lagimodiere Blvd.
