IDA MARGARET WREN (nee Robinson) August 28, 1920 - January 6, 2011 Ida, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, peacefully passed away in the early morning at the age of 90, at Parkview Place. Ida, was predeceased by her beloved husband Ken, her sister and four brothers. She leaves to mourn in her passing her son John (Vera) of Ontario, grandsons Christopher (Paris, France), Michael (Victoria, BC), daughter, Judy (Winnipeg), many nieces, nephews, aunt, sisters-in-law, friends and neighbours, as well as her beloved four legged friend Sassy Girl. She worked at Metro Drugs in Silver Heights over 25 years making numerous friends. In her younger years she travelled to Hawaii, Europe and California, and wherever her journeys took her she always ran into someone she knew. She was truly a people person. Ida loved to bake for her family and friends. Judy's friends at the Free Press Classified loved her lunches, baking and her infamous Red Velvet Cake. Judy and family would like to thank all health care workers who provided such terrific care for her mother and for making her feel like part of their family. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, please feel free to make a donation to the Humane Society. Interment has taken place. The family will hold a celebration of Ida's life at a later date.
