HARRY PASCOE A full and wonderful life has ended. Harry Pascoe passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 86 with his loving family by his side. Dad was predeceased by his first wife Muriel in 1985 and step-daughter Noreen in 1998. While living in Las Vegas he met his Lulu. Loretta and Harry where married in 1987. He is survived by his children Jim (Jacqui), Doug (Christine), Gord (Max), Nancy (Tom), grandchildren Seth, Jade, Dylan, Blake and Cameron; great-grandchildren Nevin and Drake; step-children Kathleen, Skip and Keith. After graduating from the U of M Harry worked at Winnipeg Hydro as an Electrical Engineer until retiring 1983. Dad loved sports and was involved in Winakwa Community Club and the St. Boniface Riels for many years. He spent many hours fishing on the Winnipeg River although the family never saw a fish. In his younger years he enjoyed curling and later became an avid golfer. Surrounded by his extended cook book collection dad loved the kitchen always leaving the clean up to others. Dad travelled the world especially enjoying cruises. After living in Las Vegas for 16 years he returned to Winnipeg to be closer to his family and friends, enjoying their summer retreat at Victoria Beach. Dad had many lifelong friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. Pops had many achievements in his life but his greatest love was his family. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of Harry's life will take place on Thursday, January 13 3:00 p.m. at Vic Wyatt House, 919 St. Annes Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R2.
