Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT DAVID COOK 1925 - 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Robert David Cook on January 9, 2011. Remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife Gladys, daughter Judy Prystayko (Greg), son Dean Cook (Helga), and his dearly loved grandchildren Jonathan Prystayko (Manon), Meghan Loewen-Cook (Mike) and Ian Cook. He is survived by his four sisters, Evelyn Ralston, Marion Laurie, Audrey Roberts (Don) and Margaret Thompson, predeceased by sister Edna Laurie, and brothers Raymond, Carl and Byron and parents W.D. and Alice Cook. Robert was born on the family farm at Glass, Manitoba and later took over the farm with his wife Gladys who was always at his side. He had a great love for the land, successfully farming for years, kept an immaculate prize-winning yard and bountiful garden. Robert and Gladys moved to the town of Dugald, Manitoba in 2008 enjoying many old and new friends. Memorial service to be held on Thursday, January 13th, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank. No amount of thanks can repay the care given by Dr. Dennis Caners and the staff of N3 West of Concordia Hospital.
