MORRIS PRETULA Peacefully, surrounded with the love of his family, Morris Pretula passed away on January 8, 2011, at the Dr. Gendreau Memorial Personal Care Home in Ste. Rose du Lac at the age of 87 years. Morris leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories: his children Marnie (Robert) Ackerman of Winnipeg, Janet (Dennis) Kole of East St. Paul, Dale (Debbie) Pretula of Winnipeg, Rodney (Bev) Pretula of Winnipeg, Robert (Jodi) Pretula of Winnipeg. There are seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren, his siblings Beatrice (Bill) Marrs of Ste. Rose du Lac and Mitch (Vera) Pretula of Peterborough, Ontario along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services, Ste. Rose Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Rorketon Community Complex, Rorketon, Manitoba under the auspices of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada. Rev. Fr. Brent Kuzyk will officiate, with interment in the St. John's Cemetery, Rorketon, Manitoba. Flowers are gratefully declined.
