LAURA MAY DALEY September 11, 1911 - January 8, 2011 Peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2011, May passed away at Meadowood Manor at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Tommy, her parents and her sister Kay. May is survived by her son Joe (Darlene); grandsons, Todd and Travis, Joe and Darlene's daughters-in-law, Colette and Lana; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Bromlei and Madison, as well as extended family and friends. May as she was known to relatives and friends, lived a full and healthy life. She was widowed at a fairly early age and proceeded to be very independent and do things how and when she wanted. She had a feisty side as well as a good sense of humour which everyone enjoyed. She was able to be part of her great-grandchildren's lives, as well as her grandsons who loved to tease her which made many family gatherings joyful and happy. May loved her sports and sometimes watching games on TV her shouting was louder than anyone else in the room. She was very proud of her son's career in professional sports and was one of his biggest fans. We know she will be back in the game where she is and will be enjoying any good times that are going on. Until we meet again Go May Go . The family would like to give a very big thanks to the staff of Meadowood Manor for the care and concern shown to Laura over the last two years. She always would say they take such good care of me. We would also like to thank the home care workers who cared for her prior to Meadowood Manor as they were a blessing. A special thank you to Dr. Johnson for checking on her regularly. May had requested that there be no funeral therefore a family interment will be held at a later date. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
