RAYMOND A. MOSS 1928 2011 Peacefully, on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Concordia Hospital, Raymond Moss beloved husband of Dorothy, passed away at the age of 82 years. Raymond leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 60 years Dorothy, son Barry (Suzanne), son George (Lois), daughter Geraldine (John) grandchildren, Pamela, Raymond, Tina, Corie, John and Michelle, and great-grandson Chace, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Nonnie. Raymond was born and raised in the North End of Winnipeg, where he met his loving wife Dorothy. The two were married in 1950; shortly thereafter Raymond started working at Ogilvie's / Five Roses Flour Company where he worked as a salesman for 31 years. Travelling throughout Manitoba and Ontario he developed many friendships along the way. He retired from the company in 1986. Although Raymond dressed in a suit and tie, he had the hands of a labourer. He was a handy man, he helped friends, family and especially his children with everything from plumbing, electrical or carpentry work, anything that was needed. Raymond was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. The family would like to express a special thank you to Raymond's special friend Joe Malinowski for all his help and friendship he showed over the years. The family would also like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for all the care provided to Raymond. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Saviour's Anglican Church with Reverend Simon Blaikie officiating. Immediately following the service friends are invited to the reception. Following the reception interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Raymond's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Room ON1160, R3E 0V9 or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba 10 120 Donald St. R3C 4G2.
