Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE BERYL KING (nee Rutherford) With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of June King (89), our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished wife of Gord. She passed peacefully on January 10, 2011 surrounded by her family. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by Gordon of Edmonton, her husband of 65 years, son Chris (Debra) of Spruce Grove, AB, daughter Cathy (Bruce) of St. Albert, AB, son Richard (Joann) of Gimli, MB, June's grandchildren, Kelcey, Kara, Karston, Travis, Kyle, Jacquelyn, Jordan, and Braedan, and great-granddaughter Sophia. June was predeceased by her daughter Carol and sons David and Robb. June was born in Winnipeg and moved to Edmonton in 1964. She loved to tap dance and sew, taught many young Edmonton curlers and was always a caring, and involved mother and grandmother and a loving and devoted wife. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 8420 - 145 Street, Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. A graveside celebration will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Winnipeg, MB in mid-summer. In lieu of flowers or other tributes, please make a donation to your favourite charity.
