KATHERINE BEATRICE PARKIN (HADALLER) Peacefully on January 11, 2011 at the age of 57, Kathy passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer. Kathy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ed, mother Marjorie Hadaller, siblings Gordon (Lorraine), Roland (Sharyn), Ken (Carol), Jean (John), John (Monique), Sandra (Brian) and Andrew (Annette). Nieces and nephews Scott, Julie, Kevin, Matt, Cory, Adam, Amy, Ian, Colin, Renee, Connor, Hayden and Dharia. She is also survived by members of the Parkin family, father-in-law, Stan Parkin and his children Harvey (Denise), Joan (Milton), Wendy (Wayne). Niece and nephews Steve, Julie, Dave, Dan. Kathy was predeceased by her father John Hadaller and mother-in-law Dorothy Parkin. Kathy worked for Cargill Animal Nutrition since 1976. She enjoyed her time at Longbow Lake as well as travelling, gardening, kayaking and spending time with family and friends. She loved being around people and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Kathy was known for her generosity and her ever caring heart. The family would like to thank Kathy's special friend Donna, the staff at Cancercare Steinbach, St. Boniface Palliative Care and the CancerCare (Guardian Angels) for making her a runway model. We would also like to thank all of the family and friends who supported her during her illness. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the downstairs hall at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cooks Creek, MB, 68003 Highway 212 (Cooks Creek Rd.) at Zora Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba (Guardian Angels) and the Winnipeg Humane Society. Kathy will be greatly missed by her family and numerous friends. Goodbye my Sweet T.I.B.I.L.Y.
